Our route so far with some statistics

At our anchorage tonight in the east arm of Ford's Terror.

 

We left Bella Coola on June 12th. If you click this link you should be able to see our route so far in the Google Earth app. On a desktop computer, you may have to click on the kml file in the left margin to make the route visible. 853 nautical miles, 954 statute miles, 1580 kilometers

@ 7.6 knots and 1.6 imperial gallons per hour we have burned approximately 112 imperial gallons of diesel, not including running our generator.

Another interesting (and scary) statistic is the number of photos and videos we have taken so far. We both love photography and, hey, digital images are free, aren't they? The Alaska scenery is such that from the time we get up until we go to bed we are compelled to click away.

We have been cruising for 25 days. We expect the trip to be 95 days. So far, we have taken 1960 photos and videos. Doing the math, I calculate that we will finish up with an overwhelming 7448 images and videos! Someone please check my math and tell me I got it way wrong.
